Pattaya police were notified on Monday evening by the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team that the body of an American male had been found by security guards in the grounds of View Talay 6 on Beach Road.  At the scene they found 52 year old Mr. Philip Glynn from Connecticut USA; apparently he had fallen from the balcony of his 25th floor condo.  On further investigation in the room, police found a letter written to his sister back in the USA stating he was unwell and depressed.  There were no other signs of any foul play, so the body was taken away for examination and the American Embassy in Bangkok has been notified.
