On Monday, the Sriracha Police Suppressing Inspector Pol. Lt. Col Sirisak Wongwiwat were called for help by the owner of a convenience store in Preu-sa-chart Villas 2, which is located in the Surasak Sub-district of Sriracha. Mrs. Tanyarat Kaew-jin-da, aged 53, had just been attacked by a man, later identified as Mr. Kwanchai Gade-tong, aged 28. This robber walked into her store while no one was around, and pulled out a knife. He then shoved her down onto the floor and started choking her, demanding money. Even though she was in serious trouble, she told Kwanchai she was not carrying any money and that she was pregnant. Then, a customer walked in, so Kwanchai stopped his assault and ran to hide behind the store. Mrs. Tanyarat phoned for help, and the police successfully arrested Kwanchai. This thief claimed he committed the crime because of the great stress he was suffering from arguing with his wife. Off he went, for prosecution.
