At 6:30 am on Monday, the Sattahip Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Capt. Ekachai Moonlee were called by a member of the Sawang-rojana Rescue Team Mr. Sompop Buabaan to investigate an incident he saw as he was riding his motorcycle, which was a woman, aged around 25, wearing only a football shirt and underwear, walking out from a bushy area looking exhausted,.
The police approached the scene, and the woman was in no condition to make a statement, and could only utter a few words saying that she had been raped. Her face was bruised, there was a cut on her left wrist, and blood stains on the football shirt she was wearing and between her legs. She was in a state of great fright, and would not allow anyone to get close to her but the rescue team. The medics gave her first aid and took her to Queen Sirikit Hospital.
The police believe she might have been raped by a group of men, and the investigation will start with the football shirt, which the police hope will locate the owner, while also trying to locate her family.
