On Tuesday at Pattaya City Hall, a meeting was held to consider proposals to solve the problem of water shortage in the city by using a Recycling System. The meeting was chaired by the Assistant Permanent Secretary of City Hall Mr. Apichart Peud-pahn.

The quotes and proposals were submitted by private companies bidding for the contract, since City Hall has decided to use the Recycling method to solve this problem, which reached its peak in ’05. The recycled water is clean and as cheap as tap water, and will help reduce the amount of water wasted when it is simply drained into the sea. This will also be very good for the environment and will help with global warming.
