Update on Plutaluang Plaza Burglary

A hunt was on for the capture of a number of people involved in a burglary incident on Saturday evening at Plutaluang Plaza Mall, when thieves stole electric appliances, cables and steel bars worth millions of baht.  Police believe that the thieves knew the plaza’s infrastructure very well.  As luck would have it, early on Sunday morning a pickup truck speeding and driving erratically was stopped by Sattahip police as they were heading towards Rayong.  Inside were found five men and evidence of the appliances, metal cutters, electric cables and steel bars.  On questioning, the five, including their leader Litt aged 44, confessed to the crime.  They were all sent to Pattaya Court to face charges.
