On Tuesday at 4 am, the Pattaya Police Deputy Suppressing Inspector Pol. Lt. Wisanu Chaisuwan were called to investigate a Snatching incident that happened on Pattaya Beach Road, in front of Best Friend Bar. The suspects had already been apprehended by the local people.

At the scene, the 2 ladyboys, Mr. Jarern Maankong, aged 26 from Petchaboon province and Mr. Ticha Gaewntao, aged 26 from Chiangmai province, were apprehended with the 18 K gold chain with a Buddha image of Mr. Simon Michael Young, aged 49 from Australia. He was also there, to identify the suspects, as they just snatched his chain worth over 40,000 Baht while he was walking along beach road. The robbery happened after he was approached by the 2 ladyboys seeking a sex deal, but he refused. Then, one of them walked over to start their Yamaha Fino motorcycle, and had the engine running, while the other one snatched his chain and tried to escape. The 2 ladyboys denied the charge, but many witnesses confirmed Mr. Simon’s statement, so further investigations will be made.
