Crane Operator Beaten and Arrested For Trying to Steal Donation Box
In the Sahapat Nongkaam Industrial Estate on Tuesday, the Sriracha Police were called by the sentry responsible for guarding the Spirit Hall to Brahma at the industrial estate. He reported that a man had been apprehended by the locals for trying to steal a donation box from this hall.
At the scene, Mr. Wut Gaew-pra-song, aged 32, was handed over to the police in a rather beaten-up condition, with a bruised face and cut lips. A guard Mr. Tong-lor Pet-on, aged 55, identified Mr. Wut as the individual who tried to swipe a donation box with about 3,000 Baht in it, and attempt to harm him when he saw Mr. Wut lifting the box.
Mr. Wut confessed that greed and alcohol had brought him to this low point, making him lose his sense of morality and try to steal the box. Off he went for legal proceedings at Sriracha Police Station.
