On Thursday, Nongkam Police announced about a new Home Protection Project to assist people to feel safe when they leave their homes to visit home towns for Songkran. In recent years, there have been numerous houses and residences for factory workers who started settling down in the area to work in many industrial estates and they all have to visit their parents’ homes during Songkran.   

The registration of houses for this neighbourhood watch project is now open and the police will check the area 24 hours a day while the owners are away.
