Suttawart Temple is the main temple in Nernplabwan and connecting areas during Songran, and many people gathered there to perform a Food Offering Ceremony in the early morning of the Grand Songkran Day of April 13th.  The food offering was followed by dedicating merit to all family members who have passed away, and also the congregation, which plants this beautiful tradition in the youngsters’ mind streams.  Many people freed birds, fish, frogs, even eels, to let go of their bad luck, and did not forget to make donations to the poor people, elders and orphans.
