On Friday 13th the Grand Songkran Day, Chonburi’s Governor Mr. Komsan Ekachai, government officials and the people celebrated Songkran 2012 with a 10 km. parade. The parade walked about the city, with over 15 teams in the parade, and stopped at the Pra-put-ta-si-hing Buddha Image Hall for the people to pray for their wishes and good fortune.

The parade was beautifully decorated, and there was even a team decorated to make fun of speeding gangsters, in order to teach the youngsters the consequences of carelessness and ignorance.
