Everyone in the Eastern Seaboard is celebrating Songkran, and one place that certainly was partaking of various ceremonies was Bang Saray Municipality.  On Monday a food offering was made to 9 monks from a local temple, followed by a parade, ending with elderly people and children taking part in a traditional merit making service of children pouring water over the elders’ hands, in return for blessings from the elderly folk.
