On Wednesday, the Executives of Nongplalai municipality, led by Khun A-nek Pat-ta-na-ngam, the Deputy Mayor of Nongprue, along with Khun Pree-cha Wong-si-ri-wi-mon, deputy chairman of municipal council, plus many municipal officers, went to visit the elderly residents in the local villages of Mab-yai-lia to keep the tradition of Songkran. The administrators poured water over the hands of the elderly,  and the officials in turn were blessed with prosperity and good luck. In addition to the water ceremony, there were also presentations of many useful items and souvenirs.
