At Khao-Kheow Open Zoo, Khun Pan-sak Ket-wat-tha, Chonburi MP, Khun Su-ri-ya Saeng-pong, the Director of the Zoo, and staff participated in various activities for the Songkran Festival. The activities started with a procession of relics, changing the yellow robe of the Buddha images, and paying respect to the Chao-poo-khao-kheow statue. Then the celebrants went on to sprinkle water onto the Buddha images, the monks and elderly to show respect to them, and to bring good luck and prosperity. Everyone enjoyed a marvelous Songkran observance, and a great time was had by everyone, including all the critters at the zoo.
