At 1am on Sunday, the Chonburi Police arrested a British national, Mr. Steven Palmer, aged 42. The man was nabbed in a rented room on Soi Buakhao, with 4 bags of YA ICE, weighing of 20.54 grams, a digital scale and 4,000 Baht cash.

The Police had received a report from plainclothes officer that the suspect was a drug trafficker in Pattaya. Police then set up string operation, which led to the arrest of the offender.

The suspect pleaded guilty, and confessed to Police that he is an English teacher in a school in Sattahip. He purchased the YA Ice from his friend for 46,000 Baht to resell to tourists in Pattaya. Further legal proceedings and Police investigations will be made.
