On Monday, the supervising officers at the tiger area in Khao Kheow open zoo fed frozen Pork legs to the White tigers. Due to the ongoing hot weather in Thailand, many of the animals are experiencing some tension, especially the tigers. So The zoo then took frozen raw pork legs, and dressed it with some red blood and hung the frozen pork legs about 2 meters off the ground, so the tigers would have to engage in a little exercise to get their tasty treat.
Khun Su-ri-ya Saeng-pong, the director of the zoo, revealed that the officials have been taking intensive care of the zoo’s ferocious animals, especially the tigers. A larger pool has been dug and sprinklers installed for the tigers to play in the water, as well as feeding the tigers frozen meat to cool them off. Vitamins are also added for all the animals at the zoo. Tigers love to lounge in the water to chill out, and are very good swimmers; however, at midday the tigers will curl up in the shade to avoid the blistering sunlight of summer in Thailand.
