The Pattaya Music Festival 2012 got underway on Friday evening at various stages set up along Pattaya Beach Road and Bali Hai pier area.  Officially opened by Mayor Ittipol Khunplume and Khun Sonthaya Khunplume former Minister of Tourism and Sport.    The three day musical extravaganza has five zones catering to all sorts of musical concerts, with surprise visits by many Thai stars.  The annual big event was yet again organised by Pattaya City Hall and Tourism Authority of Thailand where a press conference was given at the Hard Rock Hotel, Pattaya Beach Road.  Mayor Ittipol Khunplume announced about what was in store for the fans and tourists over the period.  An estimated 500,000 visitors are expected to attend, bringing a very buoyant revenue to the City coffers. So get along and enjoy Reggae, Blues, Techno, and Rock and Roll all being held in Pattaya this weekend.
