Chonburi police were notified on Friday afternoon of the attempted rape of a young woman at a nearby industrial estate.  At the scene the 19 year old woman stated that her motorcycle broke down and whilst she was trying to fix it, a man came along offering to help.  He asked her to ride with him to the nearest garage, which she agreed.  However, on the way in a deserted area of the road, he stopped and tried to sexually assault her.  She fought back, so instead, he grabbed her two mobile phones, wallet and gold ring and fled the scene.  A report was made and further investigations continue.
