Under-Thirteen Football Team Meets With Pattaya Mayor
On Thursday at Pattaya City Hall, the Youth Team of Pattaya United, consisting of players under the age of 13, and their coaches met with Pattaya’s Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum. The kids came for his blessing and advice as the Mayor is also the President of Pattaya United Team.
These youngsters will be competing in playoffs in many regions of Thailand, and will face matches against numerous teams from all around the country. The winning Thai team will compete at the upcoming 4th Yamaha Asean Cup Tournaments in Malaysia, when Malaysia hosts the 4th Yamaha Asean Cup Under-13 football tournament in July.
24 Under-13 Teams from all around the country, including the Thai Premier Leagues, the Yamaha Leagues Divisions etc, will compete from April 27 – May 26th to find the hottest team to send to 4th Yamaha Asean Cup Tournaments. The winners of that tournament will win 100,000 Baht and a trophy, and no doubt go on to even bigger games and opportunities.
