Mayor Ittipol Khunplume and Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Aegasing received a grand total of 9,535 beach umbrellas at City Hall on Monday afternoon.  They were donated by a group of representatives from private sectors that support City Hall in its Appearance Improving Project on Pattaya Beach.   Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall donated 245 umbrellas, Royal Garden Plaza handed over 2,500 umbrellas, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya gave 2,000 umbrellas, VISA supported 2,500 umbrellas and Air Asia gave 2,200 umbrellas.  The umbrellas will be allocated to be used by beach umbrellas and chair business operators to improve the appearance along the beach front and help maintain the good reputation for tourism in Pattaya.
