Just after midnight on Wednesday, at a road checkpoint in Soi Korpai, Pattaya police came across a modified green Nissan car travelling at extreme speed. They managed to stop the car and its driver, 24 year old Mr. Worawut from Naklua. As they were searching the car, details came back that the car had been reported as stolen to the Banglamung police in April. The man confessed to stealing the car from a Miss Meesab, which was up for sale, and he went along pretending to be interested, and asked to test drive the car before making a decision. She agreed, but of course, he did not return with her car. He was sent to Banglamung police who were covering the case, to be charged with theft.
