Father Ray Foundation 1479 Power of People with Disabilities Project
On Monday morning at the Pattaya Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disabilities, the 1479 Power of People with Disability Project was opened by the Senior Advisor of Father Ray Foundation Gen. Pisarn Wat-wong-ki-ri and the President of Father Ray Foundation Father Pichan Jaiseree. Honorable Guests were Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplume and Chonburi MP Region 7 Mr. Poramet Ngam-pi-chet.
The project has a caravan of 80 people with disabilities starting in Pattaya, through the Eastern Seaboard to North Eastern part of Thailand, a total distance of 1,479 km. The caravan will pass through 19 provinces, stopping at Bangkok, Ayuthaya and end in Nong Kai and will take 49 days to complete the aim of the project. In Nong Kai the group will take part in the 2nd Nong Kai Charity Marathon. During the journey, the 80 representatives will stop to join in local traditional activities and give advice about the rights of people with disabilities to create strong bonds between disabled people.
The caravan was sent out from Pattaya Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disability and the next destination will be Chachoengsao, then to Samut Prakarn, Bangkok, Nontaburi, Patumthani, Ayudthaya, Angthong, Lopburi and end in Nongkai province on June 23rd to join 2nd Nongkai Charity Marathon.
