A meeting was held on Thursday afternoon at the Surf Kitchen restaurant on Jomtien Beach Road by the committee of the Windsurfing Association of Thailand.  It was chaired by its president, acting Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplume who reported about performance results and the financial statement of the Association during 2011.  Included in the report was news about sending a team of windsurfers to the 2012 Olympics sailing events in Southern England.  Apart from the Olympics, the Association will send a team to join the Youth Olympics and ASEAN Beach Games later in the year in Indonesia.
