Bangladesh Tourists Attacked in Hotel Room

 

 

In the early hours of Sunday morning Pattaya police were called by the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team to go to a hotel in Central Pattaya to investigate an assault incident including the death of a tourist.  In a ransacked room on the fourth floor of the Bella Express Hotel, police found three Bangladeshi men; two were lying drugged and unconscious on the bed beside the dead body of Mr. Chan, aged 57, who was covered in blood. He together with Mr. Rashid Harunur, aged 58, and Mr. Sanjib Saha aged 54 were part of a group of Bangladesh Rotarians visiting Pattaya after an international Rotarian seminar held in Bangkok.  Police are now studying the CCTV footage to find clues as to the assailant in this tragic incident.
