Shops selling education related items and school uniforms had a roaring time over the weekend, when parents brought their children to be fitted with new uniforms for the next term at school, which begins on Monday, 14th May.  One such store was Taweechai in Naklua, whose management admitted that the cost of school uniforms and stationary have risen by at least 10% this year, due to the recent flooding that affected large areas of Thailand.
