Pattaya police were notified in the early hours of Monday morning about a shooting incident at a parking lot of a pub in North Pattaya.   At the scene, officers found 7 empty 9mm shells on the ground near a parked Mazda car.  There was no sign of the driver which the police network identified as Wiwat, aged 29 from Bangkok.   He was later found nearby in a drunken state together with the 9mm gun.  He stated that he fired the gun into the air after an argument with his girlfriend.  The gun he claimed he had just purchased from a friend, and was awaiting the transference of the license.  He was sent for legal proceedings back at Pattaya Police Station.
