In the early hours of Thursday morning Pattaya police received a visit from Mr. Danai, a convenience store owner in Soi Korpai.  He claimed that he had just been assaulted by a drunken man, who hit him over the head with an empty whiskey bottle for no apparent reason.  He had with him a CCTV clip to hand over as evidence, which showed the incident.  A report was made and an investigation is now underway to find the drunken man.
