Car Window Smashed For Theft

On Friday night, the Pattaya Police Deputy Suppressing Inspector Pol. Lt. Wisanu Chaisuwan were called to investigate a theft at the Bunkan-janaraam Temple, in Jomtien.  at the scene, Mr. Prasit Chunuan, aged 57, a local, stated that his bronze – gray Benz 280 S’s window was smashed in, and a bag containing 80,000 baht and over 10 Buddha images in gold frames were stolen.

Mr. Prasit realized that his belongings and cash were stolen and his Benz window was destroyed after he finished attending a funeral, and was driving out of the temple. He started to roll up a window when he felt the wind coming in, thinking that he forgot to close it when he parked the car. After pressing the button to roll up the window, he still felt the wind blowing into the car. So, he stopped and checked, to discover that the window was broken and his belongings were gone. Further investigations are underway.
