On Wednesday at 2 am, the Pattaya Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Tanagorn Ngam-yen were called to investigate an accident on Pattaya’s 2nd Road at the top of Soi 6. The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team was also contacted for assistance.
At the scene, a black-purple Yanaha Fino motorcycle was laying in the middle of 2nd Road, and the body of a young woman, identified later as Miss Patcharin Jampafon, aged 21 from Udonthani province, was found with her skull smashed, and her body covered in fresh blood and multiple wounds.
Witnesses stated that she was seen driving this motorcycle at extreme speed and without a helmet, and at the place of the accident, she happened to lose control of the motorcycle. The bike flipped over very hard, flinging body onto the road and her head fractured immediately.
As there was no other party involved, the case is closed, but perhaps this was a lesson for all drivers who passed by this tragedy, that extreme speed, and carelessness, can bring misfortune to anyone.
