On Monday at Pattaya City Hall, the Chairman of City Mayor and City Council Members Election Committee Chief Petty Officer First Class Dr. Som Sirisombat and the Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City Hall Mr. Pagorn Su-kon-ta-chart , acting in the capacity of Directors of the upcoming Mayor and City Council Election, opened the days for registration of candidates to submit their applications, starting at 8 am.

Acting Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum and his team arrived Pattaya City Hall at 7 am, to pay respect to the statue of King Dtaksin. He was cheered on by his many fans,  who were led by his mother Mrs. Steel Khunpleum.

The Acting Mayor took No. 1 and his team was given No 1- 6. There were no other candidates who submitted their applications that day, but would be mayors may apply until May 25th . The election will take place on June 17th.

After submitting the applications, Acting Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum and his team started working right away, to promote his campaign to continue as Pattaya’s Mayor.
