On Thursday at Surasak Municipality, Mayor Ahkom Pan-cha-lerm-chai opened the 25 Pineapple Eyes Anti-narcotics Project. This effort will train 25 qualified volunteers as the 1st group to assist the police and administrative officers in tracing narcotics. This is vital for the future of the next generation, as drug use and crime rates have increased recently. The chosen 25 community leaders, chiefs of district and sub-districts and volunteers, will follow the Pineapple Eyes Strategy to cover every corner of the community. Many watchful eyes can gather important information, like the numerous eyes around a pineapple. Sriracha’s Sheriff Wichai Sampantarat instructed the trainees in many useful ways, in his capacity as the Director of the Anti-drugs Center.
