On Friday at the Nong Yai Bu Community Office, Surasak’s Deputy Mayor Supot Yen-jai-cheuai hosted a training session to teach interested people how to make “Kanomjeen”, which is a type of white noodle eaten with yellow curry and coconut milk, and “Tong-muan-pub”, a crispy snack made from flour, sugar and sesame seeds. Surasak Municipality allocated 60,000 Baht for the Kanomjeen lesson and 20,000 Baht for the Tong Muan Pub lessons, in order to help the people have more choices for their livelihoods, and improve their living conditions.
