In order to crackdown on crime, Pattaya police set up another of their popular road checkpoints on Sunday afternoon. One regular site was targeted, Soi Jularat off Thepprasit Road. A total of 12 people, 10 men and 2 women, were arrested for failing on the spot drug tests. They were taken away for further questioning at the police station.
