Various complaints have been sent to the Pattaya People Media Group about the violation of the Traffic Law on South Pattaya Road regarding the Odd and Even day parking rules. Reporters visited the area to survey the situation on Tuesday, and found that many motorcycle taxis, baht buses, cars and motorcycles were parking on the wrong side of the street, in violation of the Odd and Even rules of parking from 11 am – 11 pm.

The chief infringers were the motorcycle taxis around Tuk Com. The motorcycle drivers park their bikes on both sides of the street, causing the traffic to congest on South Pattaya Road. On Odd numbered days, like the 1st  of June, the parking is only allowed on the opposite side of Tuk Com, and on the Even Days, e.g., the 2nd of June, the parking should be on the same side of Tuk Com, from 11 am – 11 pm. The complaints will be referred to the Pattaya Police Station for the police to deal with these encroachments.
