Huay Yai police were notified on Wednesday about the death of a woman construction worker at a site on Ban Amphur Road.  At the site where workers were building houses, they were taken to a drainage pipe where a digger was in the process of retrieving the body of Mrs. Ratana aged 40 from Rayong.  Both she and a co-worker were inspecting the pipe 3 meters in the ground when a sudden landslide of soil came down on them.  The co-worker managed to get out in time, but Mrs. Ratana was completely buried under the soil.  The body was taken away and the family notified of the tragedy.  The contractor and developer of the site will be notified to accept responsibility and possibly face legal charges.
