On Thursday, the Pattaya Police, along with a special task force, arrested a young Thai man, Pi-ya-pong Jit-jin-da, aged 23, with possession of 0.58 gram of YA ICE. The Police stopped him while he was riding a motorcycle behind the Mae-Sri-Ruean Noodle Shop on Central Pattaya Rd, as he was acting suspiciously, and upon searching him, the officers found YA ICE on his person.
After questioning him, the suspect told the Police that he purchased the YA ICE from a teenage couple. The officers then devised a sting operation to catch these dealers. As soon as the teen couple delivered the YA ICE to Pi-ya-pong, the Police then declared themselves and arrested the teen dealers.
Both teens were age 17, and the Police also found 1.68 grams of YA ICE in a pocket and shoulder bag. At the same time, there were 4 teenagers riding past the police acting suspiciously, so the Police then stopped them as well, and took them for urine tests, and all were found positive. All suspects were taken to Police Station for further investigation.
