Two Tough Brothers Arrested For Assault of Tourist
On Tuesday afternoon, the Pattaya Police Deputy Superintendent Pol. Lt. Col. Supachai Pui-kam-gaew and the Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Col. Anak Prasongsook arrested the Moelee Brothers, Mr. Kansaeng, aged 33 and his older brother Mr. Udon Moelee, aged 42, for assaulting a tourist. The tourist was reportedly shocked with a stun gun during a fight with the brothers. The incident happened on Pattaya Beach Road close to the Pattaya Police Station, and was broadcast on National TV earlier this week.
The Moelee brothers claimed to be air conditioner technicians, and had brought their families to visit Pattaya for holiday. The brothers said they were provoked by this tourist while heading back home, driving out of Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall onto Beach road. The tourist was standing in the middle of the soi and blocking their path. The Moelee brothers also claimed that the foreigner was very drunk. He shouted at them and slammed his fist on their pickup, which made them very angry, and then the fight started.
The brothers also claimed that, when the police stopped the fight, both sides had suffered some injuries, but everyone walked away without any further encounters, until they were arrested for assault of this foreigner at their residence.
