On Monday night, the Pattaya Police led by the Suppressing Inspector Pol. Lt. Col. Anek Sa-tong-yu surrounded a designated house in Sabaijai Villas, in Central Pattaya, to arrest a drug trafficking suspect. The officers had conducted a sting operation, where 5 Yah Bah tablets were bought by an undercover policeman for 1,000 baht. The agent who sold the drugs was Mr. Bank or Mr. Somgiat Seree-goon-wi-wate, aged 30 from Prae province.

The police successfully arrested Mr. Somgiat, and his 2 associates Mr. Lerpong See-ha-saen, aged 29 and Mr. Anucha Pon-ka-gee, aged 27. They were found consuming drugs in the house, and the money used for sting operation was found hidden in the toilet. Mr. Somkiat pleaded guilty and said that his friends were customers. They all were taken for legal proceedings and further investigations to the Pattaya Police Station.
