On Wednesday at 1: 30 am, Pattaya Police, the Pattaya Police Volunteers and Civilian Volunteers as called Or. Bor. Por. Ror. led by the Deputy Suppression Inspector, Pol. Capt. Somchai Chai-ka-na-nu-goon started a Patrol from North Pattaya to the entrance of  Walking Street. Their effort was to suppress crimes and the Coconut Ghosts, which is the new name for the beach prostitutes who always sit under the coconut trees. The dragnet snagged 20 offenders, and
most of the Coconut Ghosts were apprehended around places showing the Euro Football matches. All of them were fined 100 baht, before being freed.
