On Wednesday at 2: 30 am, the Pattaya Police 191 Radio Center was called by the owner of a rental apartment in Soi Jomtien 2, Mrs. Ratree Jakgaew, aged 36. She called the police to tell them that a Cambodian man had just jumped off the second floor terrace, and he was on the ground, and badly injured.
The police and Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team were dispatched to the scene, and Mr. Sampohors Ieng, aged 23 from Cambodia, was found lying on the ground with multiple fractures to his limbs, and his head covered in blood. He was nearly unconscious, probably from a combination of being drunk and being injured, so he was given first aid before being taken to Banglamung Hospital.
The apartment owner Mrs. Ratree stated that Mr. Sampohors informed her a couple of days ago that he would move out soon, and that he had stayed in this apartment for 1 month. While she was cooking in her kitchen, she saw him leap off the 2nd floor terrace, for no apparent reason. Further investigations will continue when Mr. Sampohors can make a statement.
