It seems that currently there is a cash flow problem at some of the government pawnshops in Pattaya.  This has caused complaints from a number of people wishing to take advantage of low interest rates applied by government pawnshops.  Many have been turned away.  Managers stated that recently a lot of customers have failed to return to pay interest on their belongings, plus due to the elections this weekend, there is currently no one in authority to sign approvals for new loans.
