Pattaya police were called out on Wednesday to investigate an attempted sexual assault at an apartment on Sukhumvit Road in North Pattaya.   The suspect, 38 year old Mr. Samrit was being held by residents.  He was in a drunken state and had been beaten up by friends of the victim’s husband.  The victim stated that whilst she was relaxing with her 1 year old son, Samrit came into the room and assaulted her. She screamed for help and downstairs neighbours came to her rescue.  Samrit was taken away to face charges.
