On Thursday evening, whilst out inspecting the area Nongkam police were approached by staff from a convenience store and reported that a female workmate had been dragged from the store by a Thai man and taken into a nearby wooded area.  Forty officers and volunteers went out and searched the woods and soon found the couple.  The woman, 31 year old Atcharee stated that the man 26 year old Sarawoot was her ex-boyfriend.  She left him because he was a bully.  He was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
