On Wednesday afternoon, the results of the Mayoral and City Council Member Elections were confirmed. Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum successfully led his whole team to a second term of managing Pattaya, receiving a majority of votes from the citizens of Pattaya and the surrounding areas, reported from 90 election stations.
Mayor Ittipon led his team to each election district, where they toured the roads to thank everyone for their great support and trust. The caravan of newly elected officials traveled from North to South Pattaya via Pattaya Beach Road, 3rd Road and South Pattaya Road, and throughout the journey, the Mayor emphasized that all the projects he has initiated will be brought to completion in his second term.
Our newly re-elected mayor was born in 1973 in Chonburi. He is married, and has 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Mayor Ittipon was educated at Assumption College in Sriracha for Middle School, and he went to High School at Swan College in Bangkok. He received a B. A. in Law at Chulalongkorn Univ., Bangkok, as well as an M.A. in International Law at Golden Gate Univ. in San Francisco.
The Mayor describes himself as “determined, sincere and consistent”, and has been awarded the honor of the Knight Grand Cross, First Class, of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant. PP wishes our Mayor an excellent and fruitful four more years.
