On Wednesday at the Laem Chabang Police Station, the Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Sak-ra-pee Piao-pa-nit held a press conference and the Investigating and Suppressing Teams to announce the arrest of Mr. Wittaya Nirasakaam, aged 34. This man was detained with 4,700 Yah Bah tablets and a I Phone. Mr. Wittaya has been tracked by the authorities for a while, who finally set up a sting operation to nail him. Mr. Wittaya easily fell into the trap, and agreed to deliver 4,000 tablets to an undercover policeman.
The delivery spot was in Laem Chabang. When the agreed time came, a black Toyota Soluna car and a blue-white Yamaha Fino approached the place. The officers wasted no time, and immediately searched the drivers and the 2 vehicles. 4,000 tabs were uncovered in the car driven by Mr. Wittaya, so Mr. Wittaya revealed that he has connections with a network of drug dealers run by a prisoner in Baang Kwaang Prison in Bangkok. He has been working with them for many years and most of the Yah Bah has been buried in many locations, to hide the contraband from the police. Another 700 more tabs were found, making a grand total of 4,700 tablets of the drug. Mr. Wittaya was dispatched to be prosecuted and for further investigations.
