On Tuesday, Sriracha’s Sheriff Mr. Wichai Sampantarat led many representatives of government authorities to join and walk in the Anti-narcotics Parade. The parade was in support of the World’s Anti-Narcotics Day, and over 2,000 people, including students from many schools, joined in. The parade marched from the Sriracha Municipality Office to the Gor Loy Public Activity Ground, where the Sheriff Wichai led the people and the reps to take oaths to stay drug free. Everyone drank water, to symbolize taking the oath, before signing their anti-narcotics groups names on a large cotton cloth. This signed banner was put up at Gor Loy bridge, to highlight the intention of signers to make Sriracha a drug free area.
