On Tuesday right after midnight, a team of police from the Central Investigation Department, led by the Assistant Director of Tammanat Pattaya Guard (2009) Ltd Mr. Chaiwat Lomagoon, aged 43, apprehended Miss Panaporn Larn-la-korn, aged 49 a local resident.  A Pattaya Court Arrest Warrant had been issued for her, as she had bounced the check she gave to her lawyer for payment of services. Miss Panaporn was taken to the Banglamung Police Station for further investigation, as she had issued a check for 4 million baht to pay Mr. Chaiwat.  He had been her legal advisor in pursuing properties worth over 200 million baht on Samui Island from her ex-husband. Mr. Chaiwat advised her for over 2 years and successfully won the case for her, resulting in her being awarded 6 million baht.

Mr. Chaiwat also stated that, since the case began, he had advanced his personal money to complete the process, which added up to 3 million baht. When the case ended, Miss Panaporn signed over a 4 million baht check to him, but Mr. Chaiwat was shocked when he discovered the check could not be cashed. Miss Panaporn had already transferred the money to her son’s account. Mr. Chaiwat learned of her conniving after he tried to contact her, but to no avail. Legal proceedings will continue.
