On Thursday at 3 am, the Pattaya Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Capt. Tidiwat Boon-on received a complaint from a beer bar worker Miss Ganokporn Narn-gra-toek, aged 32 from Nakhon Ratchasima province. She entered the Pattaya Police Station with her Manager to file a complaint, as her wallet containing almost 20,000 baht had just been stolen from her work place at a Beer Bar in Soi Diana Inn, Central Pattaya.
The wallet was kept in a locker on the 2nd floor of the bar, when Miss Ganokporn started to work at 8:30 pm. At 3 am, the Manager came to tell her that her locker had been broken into, and when she checked inside the locker, her wallet, containing 6,000 baht and other currencies, totaling almost 20,000 baht, had been swiped.
Miss Ganokporn also stated that there were 2 CCTV cameras in the bar, but only 1 that worked, and that one was facing a corner, and missed capturing the movements in the premises. A while later, there was a phone call from a motorcycle taxi driver, informing her that her wallet was found dropped on the road in Soi Gra-prao-daeng, South Pattaya, (not far from Vientien Restaurant) with blood stains on it. Miss Ganokporn went to check, and the wallet was hers, therefore, she visited Pattaya Police Station to make a complaint. Further investigations will proceed, as the police suspect co-workers in this theft.
