On Saturday at 3 am, the Pattaya Police Deputy Suppressing Inspector Pol. Lt. Wisanu Chaisuwan were summoned to deal with a ruckus at a pub. A group of teenagers were behaving badly, shooting bullets into the sky in front of the Warm Up Pub on Pattaya’s 3rd Road. The teens were causing the mayhem just to threaten their enemies, who were still inside the pub. When the police arrived, the group of over 10 teens on many motorcycles managed to scatter; the police network was alerted to look for them, but with no success.
The police then searched the parking area of the Warm Up Pub, and over 30 teenagers both male and female were apprehended, as they were all underage for drinking and enjoying a nightlife.
Their IDs were inspected and their motorcycles were searched for ownership documents. Their parents were also contacted to take their kids home. Many of these parents are motorcycle taxi drivers, hotel employees and market venders, who stopped their education early, and pay little attention to their children’s behavior and schooling.
