On Friday at the A-One Royal Cruise Hotel, on North Pattaya Beach Road, the National Information Center, Region 1, held a training session to improve the skills of 40 volunteers from both government authorities and private sectors. These badly needed skills are to recognize the latest scamming techniques by criminals, especially international ones. This will help the volunteers to be aware of what to expect while earning their living, and to be able to give constructive information to the police.
The Director of National Information Center Mr. Terdsak Hong-sa-goon graciously opened the program, then let the Instructors educate the trainees on the number of foreigners in the city, and the rate of crimes committed by foreigners, including international terrorists. As Pattaya is a city with many nationalities, this training program was considered very successful, as the trainees paid attention to every detail. The attendees from the private sector included hoteliers, entertainment businesses, Isaan Association, Motorcycle Taxi Group and Reporters Association of Pattaya.
