Pattaya police revealed about an update to the tragic event involving the death of a Banglamung Police Volunteer who was shot dead in a shooting incident earlier this week. The confrontation occurred at a makeshift camp set up by five Cambodian male migrants. Apparently they fired guns at the officer and his team when they went out to investigate after receiving information that these men were thieving from local villages. During their search on Thursday, police arrested one of the suspects, named Sahai, aged 20, as he was seen buying food in Takientia village. He confessed to being part of the gang, who made a living by stealing motorcycles and taking them over the border to sell for a profit back in Cambodia. More information also revealed that there were originally 11 members of the gang. Two were killed in the shooting, and eight still remain at large. The case continues.
